Luke Davies

Director & Principal Broker

Luke began his insurance career in 2006 with Shortland Insurance Brokers, a family-owned brokerage, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of commercial insurance risks. After moving to Queensland, he joined Aon, where he worked with corporate accounts and developed further experience managing larger and more complex insurance programs.

In 2016, Luke founded Intapp Insurance with a clear goal: to provide businesses with experienced, practical advice and the personal service often missing from larger brokerages. He holds a Diploma of Insurance Broking and remains closely involved with clients, from understanding their business and negotiating cover to advocating for them when a claim occurs.

Outside insurance, Luke is a passionate snowboarder and travels around the world chasing fresh powder whenever the opportunity arises.

Ian Davies

Account Executive

Ian began his insurance career in 2005 with Austbrokers Central Coast, where he gained experience arranging insurance for a broad range of businesses and assisting clients through renewals and claims.

In 2009, Ian established IMD Sales, an online retail business that he operated for ten years. Managing sales, marketing, customer service and day-to-day operations gave him valuable first-hand insight into the challenges business owners face.

Ian returned to insurance broking in 2019, joining Intapp Insurance. He now advises businesses across commercial property, liability, motor, professional indemnity, construction and contract works insurance. He holds Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualifications and is known for practical advice, responsive service and hands-on support when claims arise.

Outside insurance, Ian is passionate about motorcycling, whether touring Australia by road or tackling challenging off-road trails.
